2024 Real Estate Tax Bills: The 2024 real estate tax levies were entered and sent to the Sauk County Treasurer's Department today for the Village of North Freedom. The bills are now posted on the County ALRS system and are being sent for printing. They should be arriving in the forthcoming weeks.Residents can look up by their parcel number, address (including mailing), or name and see their property information by visiting this link: https://www.co.sauk.wi.us/treasurer/property-tax-info-alrsIMPORTANT NOTE: the 2025 dog tags will be available 12/1/2024. Wisconsin Elections Commission Videos on Election Administration

How neat?!
The Wisconsin Elections Commission put together these videos to show voters on how elections are carried out in Wisconsin!  It can be a lot to wrap your head around and there may be some misconceptions out there that make it even more difficult to understand, but it is the hope of these videos to “create better awareness and understanding of how election administration works in our state and through that understanding, establish more trust in the process.”  Check them out at this link:  https://elections.wi.gov/101

🔴The November General Election will be here before we know it!  The deadline for register by mail or online to vote is Wednesday, October 19, 2022.  After this date, registration must take place in person at the Village Office or at the Polling Place on Election Day, November 8, 2022.  Register today at:  https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/

⚪️The first day of in-person absentee voting will start on:  Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and go until Friday, November 4, 2022

🔵The last day for Regular & Overseas voters to request their absentee ballot by mail, online, email or fax for the November General Election is:  Thursday, November 3, 2022.  For Indefinitely Confined, Military – not on active duty away from their residence, Military – on active duty away from their residence, Sequestered Jurors, and Hospitalized Electors there are different deadlines.  If this applies to you, please reach out to the Village Office for more information.  You can request your absentee ballot at:  https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/
