North Freedom Waterworks (PWS ID:  15700960) Notice
Dear Customer:  At the January 12, 2026 Regular Board Meeting of the Village of North Freedom, the Village Board voted to discontinue the water fluoridation.  This decision was made following extensive systematic reviews and feedback from the public during our open survey period.
This change will be effective February 1, 2026.
Individuals who wish to continue receiving fluoride benefits should consult with their dental or health care providers for alternative treatment options.  You can also look for toothpaste or mouth wash products with active fluoride agent(s).
This change does NOT impact the safety or quality of our water supply.  North Freedom Waterworks still strives to deliver high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds State & Federal drinking water standards.  Stay up to date with our water quality information by reviewing the Consumer Confidence Report that is available each year.
