Happy “Tax Season”, oops, we meant Happy Holidays!  🎄  But now that we have your attention, we would like to take this time to let you know that there has just been word that the Village of North Freedom’s 2021 Property Tax Bills have been generated and sent for printing and mailing out.  You may also find copies online at https://www.co.sauk.wi.us/treasurer/property-tax-info-alrs.  An insert with the below information will be mailed along with the bills but just as a reminder, here are some key notes!  😊

💲Tax Collection Information

The Village of North Freedom Village Office (105 N Maple St, North Freedom, WI 53951) is open Monday through Friday at 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. – closed daily from 12:00 P.M. to 12:30 P.M. for lunch.  Mailed payments are appreciated and can be sent to “Village of North Freedom – ATTN:  Clerk/Treasurer – PO Box 300, North Freedom, WI 53951” – and you may also use our convenient drop box service located directly underneath the window with the Office Hours of the Village Clerk!  Please note:  the first installment or full tax payment is DUE JANUARY 31, 2022!

🐾Dog Licenses – *Send a separate check for dog licenses!*

Dogs 5 months of age or older need to be registered by April 1 of each year.  Information needed for dog tags:  Dog Name, Color, Breed, Sex, Vaccine/Vaccine Manufacturer Serial #, Vet Proof of Rabies Vaccination, Date Given & Expiration Date.

Unneutered Male/Unspayed Female:  $12.00

Neutered Male/Spayed Female:  $7.00

Duplicate License:  $6.00

Late Fee:  $10.00

Please send a self-addressed AND stamped envelope for tax receipts and dog tags!
